Applying the Colored Frames in PhotoImpact

1. Open an frame file from the frames sub folder in PhotoImpact.

2. Open a photo file.

3. Activate the frame window and choose Dimensions from the Format menu (or simply press <Ctl + G>) and enter the pixel size of the photo file to adapt the frame to the size of the photo.

4. Select the Magic Wand tool and click on the inner white area of the frame with it.

5. Choose Selection | Soften from the Edit menu to smooth the selection border.

6. Choose Selection | Invert from the Edit menu to invert the selection.

7. Press <Ctl + C> to copy the frame to the clipboard.

8. Switch to the photo window and select press <Ctl + V> to paste the frame over the photo.

9. Choose Selection | Merge All from the Edit menu to merge the frame and the photo.
